About the event
Chilina was Broadway’s longest running “Carole King” in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical with over 1200 performances.
She most recently starred as “Billie Jean King” in the new play Billie Jean by Lauren Gunderson (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre) and “Kate” in the new Off-Broadway musical Reunions at NY City Center. Broadway credits include: “Myrtle” in The Great Gatsby, “Annie O’Brien” in Paradise Square, “Mary Magdalene” in Jesus Christ Superstar.
Other roles include: “Ms. Hopkins” in Life After (Yonge St. Theatricals), “Cindy” in A Sign of the Times (York Theatre Company and DTC), “Elle” in the one woman play The Human Voice (filmed for Toronto OIC), “Dina” in the International Tour of The Band’s Visit opposite Sasson Gabay (Toronto Theatre Critics’ Award), “Cecily” in The Importance of Being Earnest (Neptune Theatre), “Binky” in This Ain’t No Disco (Atlantic Theater Company), “Sophie” in Mamma Mia!
