Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder spirit lives on through The Bob Cats. Based in Woodstock — where Dylan and The Band forged their explosive folk-rock sound — the group celebrates the legendary songwriter's birthday this May with a special performance at My Father's Place.
Featuring world-renowned drummer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, Paul McCartney) and his band of Woodstock all-stars, The Bob Cats rock the Dylan songbook with soul and fire. Life-long Dylan interpreters Doug Yoel and Kyle Esposito dig deep on vocals and guitar; pedal steel and slide master Rob Stein (The Mammals) brings the fireworks and the dreaminess; Bruce Milner (Every Mother's Own) commands piano and organ; and Chuck Cornelis (Chris Isaak) lays down an authoritative bass groove.
